Abel Tasman National Park

Abel Tasman National Park is the smallest National Park in New Zealand, but because of it's unique beauty, it is also the most popular. Read what Rebekah & David had to say about their stay.

"Our luck is continuing for now. 😀 We had a cloudy but, overall, nice day hiking in the Abel Tasman Park. We missed the first water taxi and with it being winter the next one didn't leave until afternoon. We decided just to drive to the entrance of the park and walk from there. Compared to our previous hikes, this was a breeze. It was fun to have a change of pace and scenery though"

Their decision to drive to the entrance of the park after missing the water taxi was a smart one. This is also the starting point for one of New Zealand's newest walking trails, The Heaphy Track. This trail  takes 4 days to complete and Rebekah and David can now claim they have walked at least a part of it. The photo is the view from their room this morning.
