After a night in Wanaka, Rebekah and David move on to Queenstown. They decide to travel via The Crown Range, considered one of the great drives in New Zealand although not for the faint-hearted. Let's read what they say ...

"We went via the Crown Range so we could stop at the Cardrona distillery.  It was interesting to see a distillery that is still in it's early stages after visiting ones in Scotland and Kentucky. I was even happier that we went that way because the views were phenomenal.  (We had heard talk that there was a lot of snow on the roads and it was pretty dangerous but by the time we got to the snowy part the roads seemed fine)"

Today we did horseback riding and hiking near Glenorchy.  After that we explored Queenstown. The gondola and luge was a lot of fun (David was disappointed that we didn't get more luge runs) then we had the famous fergburger.

Tomorrow we get up early and head for Milford Sound.
