For NZ$10 million (approximately US$7.3m) you get a 113,000 acre high country working farm called Arcadia Station. It's located on the shores of Diamond Lake, an hours scenic drive from Queenstown in the South Island. The property zoning allows the new owner to build their dream home, up to nine houses, a visitor resort, or a luxury lodge and health retreat. They will also have the option to acquire the 110-year-old Arcadia Homestead, a registered heritage building.
A word of caution however; the owners have made it clear that their preference is to sell to a New Zealand buyer.
This region can be visited on many of the New Zealand Vacations itineraries, including this popular 14 Day Self Drive option.
